I get the impression that both dogs totally forget about us the minute we are out of sight, as long as someone else is there to feed them, walk them and play with them.
However, the welcome we always get on our return makes up for the fact we have missed them and they always seem glad to get back home and into their normal routine.
Don't worry- it's normal to feel sad about leaving her and you had better get used to the feeling, as it doesn't get any easier when she is older!!
