Catflaps with timers?

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a catflap with a timer on it, so you can det it to lock and unlock at specific times, as I know you can get feeding bowls with timers on them.

Hi SAH, I don't think there are any catflaps like this on the market. One way of getting round it would be to buy an electronic one and plug it into a separate timer (like the ones for washing machines etc.) which you can then set the operating times on.

Does your cat know the time?

Thanks anyway lynb - I didn't know you could buy electronic catflaps, do you know where I can get them from? - My cats don't know the time but I wish they did, then perhaps it would stop them from coming in at all hours and to make matters worse one of them keeps bringing in frogs from my next door neighbours pond, which is making me hopping mad!
