It not what people eat that offends me but the barbaric way in which animals are kept and slaughtered.

I have no great objection to them eating dogs, I would just rather they didn't, but to treat them in such a barbaric was is just pure evil!! I posted an article on this just a couple of weeks ago.

I try to accept that other people don't have the same views as me -whether it is about tattoos or meat that they eat.

But the animals should be not be kept in a stressful or cruel way whilst they are alive.

It's the method of killing, tying their legs behind their backs etc., which distresses me. It doesn't bother me that people eat dogs, but there is no need to treat them so badly beforehand.

I don't know why some people can treat other creatures so cruelly. The human race still has a long way to go before we can live in peace and respect other inhabitants on this planet.
