I lost my beautiful cat last week, I'm heartbroken. The house just feels so empty without her, even walking up the street to home as she'd almost always come running out to meet me.
I remember a post not long ago, by Answerprancer I think? Saying they had found a cat after an accident and took it to the vets and were looking for the owner. I just wanted to say I am so incredibly grateful for the person who took my cat in. The vets phoned me after finding her microchip. I saved me a lot of extra heartbreak had I found her myself (I can't even imagine that) or her just never coming home and me never knowing, I'd have been frantic.

She was an absolute softy, always having cuddles and curling up with me. I've still got socks all over the house, she carried them round like kittens, I can't bear to pick them up.
I was thinking about you earlier, it is all so very sad for you. My two are indoor cats and I feel slightly guilty about this. But it is a dangerous world out there for cats - which is not helped by their habit of alienating neighbours by killing any little furry or feathery animal and $h¡tting in their gardens.

It is boxtops, it does give you some closure. I'd also recommend to anyone to have their pets chipped if they go out. Both mine, I lost her sister last year, were chipped by the rescue home I got them from.
I know it will take time. I can't even think about getting another cat yet but maybe in time x

It is Wolf. I have agonized over it at times but all my cats have been rescue cats and used to being out before I rescued them and I couldn't deny them that. I've always gone for the slightly older cats as people tend to go more for the cute kittens.
She liked her time out, went out willingly and was rarely out at night and, if so, always her choice. I don't know her history before me, with me she was the most loving cat but she would never go near any other person the whole time I had her.
