We have ants/flying ants in the kitchen and have noticed bad cracks in our stone floor tiles, could this be the ants causing this? We cannot see where they are coming in, and have sprayed them but there are loads of the things!

I have a new, tried and tested anti-ant deterent. WD40 with the long straw attachment. Stick  the straw on the nozzle, stick the straw down into the entry/exit point, and scoosh, liberally. I'm now about 6 weeks antfree.
Apologies to any ant lovers who may be feeling queezy.
Ants can cause problems under floors due to their tunnels and incredible earth shifting abilities.  Is your floor uneven at all?  Are the tiles layed down on sand?  Silicaone sealant works wonders as a long term solution, but also check the outside walls- climbing plants such as Ivy encourage ant invasions.
I had the same I was absolutely infested with them! I use all the ant powder and gel all of which never worked, I was told to put down ground cloves I couldnt believe it with in an hour h had all gone and have never come back ! Give it a go and it cheap and unharmful to and children or other animals!
