dotty, it can also be blowing the whistle on an individual who's not performing correctly - in the NHS it doesn't just relate to company policies, it's about bad practice too - we have policies on it. I imagine it's the same in ILB's situation.

it's been the same in my last 2 jobs, at smiths and previously in debenhams, but no one is asked to go undercover, that's not the same thing at all.
