New Born Kittens!!

My cat just had kittens a week ago and I'm wondering if I touch them, will she eat them? And if yes, how long do I have to wait until I can touch them without my cat getting upset?

When a mother cat has a c-section done, she is more than willing to accept her kittens even though they have een recessitated by hand by a human. If they are a week old now then there is nothing to worry about. She has familiarized herself with them and because she is familiar with you, she won't mind. (If she does it will be the first I've heard of) YOu should handle the kittens to begin socializing them because you don't want ferile kittens.
As for eating them, it is usually a rival tom cat that does the canibalism.
Hope this helps; Have fun with your kittens
