Hope you have all had a good one so far.

I'm settling in for a quiet night, been out-shopped by my mum and knackered now :)

Came home to try to sort out my new bird feeding initiative after it was demolished by a hungry squirrel only to find he was sitting on the fence right by my head watching me tie something up, literally right next to me, I even talked to him and he just sat there then followed me around the garden while I sorted the more squirrel proof stuff for the birds! I feel bad for not getting him some more peanuts now.

...I am talking to and being emotionally blackmailed by...a...squirrel...

I think I need a drink!

sounds about right, welcome to the club!
as odd as yesterday, almost two hours to get home from roman road in east London, stuck on a bus which was log jammed, bus couldn't get any further than St Pauls, so got off the bus, and there was a concert, choir doing a gig for charity on the steps of St Pauls, marvellous, headed home with a
strange day feeling, this place can be so extreme.

Thanks Petal haha :)

Ahh I love St Pauls, used to work right next to it and loved walking past it in the morning to work when all was quiet.
I'm currently being glared at by the cat, who earlier fell in the bath i'd (luckily) just got out of.
Boo - pictures?
Question Author
Oops! I don't even want to imagine being in a bath with a cat, not sure I'd get out alive!
You're joking right? She shot off like her backside was on fire, and is currently under the sofa hissing at all and sundry who goes near her.
Well I've had a sh1te day but I won't bore you with the details.
go on, mine has been pretty broccoli, much like yesterday...
Question Author
Awww poor thing! I remember one of mine jumping up the garden gate, missing and plummeting into a water bin, never seen a cat move so fast! Poor sulking soggy moggy, though understandably.

Has she started shaking it out all over your floor yet?
Question Author
Oh dear ladies, feel free to rant if it helps!
No, shes under the sofa trying to sort her tail out in to some sort of order. I felt terrible for laughing my head off at her, but truth be told both Mr and Mini Boo who also saw it happen can't stop the giggles.
Boo, is it common practice for Mr Boo, Mini Boo and Feline Boo to help younput of the bath?!?!?
Question Author
Bless her, well I don't imagine she will do it again :)
Hi Eve...flipping faffy day again, as I told Em earlier. Too many bits and pieces going on and can't get stuck into anything..well except the bar of chocolate I've just eaten.
My daughter used to befriend the squirrels in our last garden. They were fascinating til they started to come into the house looking for her. I think the fastest I have ever moved was when one pinched my packet of ciggies from the window sill and made off with it. Ever seen a mad Irish woman chasing a squirrel with 20 B&H in its mouth?
You will be able to hand feed yours with time and patience. x
Well id got out and it was being refilled for Mini boo, hence why we both there, and the cat was asleep on the window....she stretched....PLOP!!!
Mmmm, a stretching cat usually has its claws extended too.....good job you were out of the bath!

It must have been funny to watch though.......
shows how bad things are i am actually about to eat a fray bentos pie,
i couldn't face the salad i had planned and the local supermarkets freezers were all on the blink...
Question Author
Oooooh, Boo, I sense an evening at least of sulky cat!

Now Gness, that I would love to have seen haha! I was a bit odd, he looked a couple of times like he was almost waiting for me to feed him - maybe others do! I was a bit uncertain in case he was actually bracing himself to attack! I can just imagine turning up at the local A&E (major city hospital on a Saturday night) with squirrel inflicted injuries, let alone explaining to people, oh, can you imagine!
Question Author
I've not had one of them for years Emmie! I was good and had a wafer thin chicken and salad wrap though I did have an unusual biscuit snack attack earlier - damn Tesco putting Crunch Creams on offer!
