Fishing - Bait Colouring - Smell

if you have been fishing, and have wiped some of this bait colouring off your fingers onto your clothes - would it smell?

i realise it may not have a smell when its in its pack, but after it has been added to the maggots etc, does it have an odour?

would your fingers smell?
and would the powder leave a scent on your clothes?

i realise some bait colourants are also scented

i am talking about if the bait had odourless colouring - (can you get odourless colouring?) - but would the maggots make it smell?
