Walking across my desk today was a white bug that almost looked like a cloud with legs, but tiny, I would say about 2-3mm long and not very high, I was going to take a photo but my fiancee squashed it. Does anyone know what it could be?

Two possibles - a Mealy Bug or a Plume Moth.
