I have a shih-tzu 6yrs old has a slight heart murmer. She gets excited and wants to go for a walk but the enthusiasum soon wears off. Does anyone have any suggestions where I could get some sort of trolley or something I could place her in so she does not have to miss out on her walks altogether. (something like a lawn spreader but a bit squarer)

What about a small child's wagon? Perhaps something like this with a pillow and a treat inside:

something like that would be great a bit smaller perhaps and maybe not quite so expensive. but it has given me an idea thanks.

just looked on e-bay and there was one on there for 169 pounds
I live in the uk. a friend of mine bought a second hand child's push chair , the kind that can rotate into a bed,(actually at our local refuse dump sales area) to deal with exactly this problem. It cost her 4.50
assuming you are in the uk,I'm sure I saw one in the betterware (the catalogue through the door people)book,It was specifically for small dogs, little waterproof cover and everything..can't remember the price though.

I have looked at bettaware on line nothing there but I vaguely remember seeing something I think they had a lead also with an umbrella attached to keep the dog dry. Wouldn't go that far but I'll have a look when the next catalogue comes through the door.
Woofgang beat me to the suggestion of a cast off pushchair!
.... or how about an old Dolls Pram with an adapted handle.  Would be a great talking point when out for a walk!
Is she on medication?  I am just wondering whether her heart could be helped to function better, with the result that she is able to exercise more easily?
I saw the umbrella lead in there as well,I looked on their website too,if I get a betterware catalogue soon I'll look out for it for you.

thank you for all your replies. No she is not on medication at the moment and she has been like this since she was a puppy. Its just that now I know she has a slight murmur that I don't want to force her to walk. She runs around in the house but I still feel its nice to get out with the other dog as well. This way when she has had enough (assuming she wont refuse to walk at all if she knows she has transport) I will still be able to take her out
