Our 14 year old cat had a fit out of the blue this morning and is now fast asleep. What happened?

When he or she wakes a visit to the Vet is essential.  Fitting can often start in old age and your cat probably will need medication.  I don't want to worry you but fits can also result from a brain tumour or other disturbance, but epilepsy is more probable.

She must see a vet asap.

Hi Kerry - I'm sorry to hear about your cat having a fit.

I can only second FP's advice with regard to taking your cat to the vet ASAP.

There is no telling. Mrs rampart does the same thing regularly without provocation.
