looking for ideas to break a collies fixation on cars something out of the normal as ive tried most things I need something that's just enough to break it for a second so I can bring focus back on me thank you

can i suggest that you try a behaviourist or post it on somewhere like here

collies are a very specialist breed and one who has such a fixation issue needs more than general advice
I know this is not the proper way to use them but have you tried a Clicker?
Try an empty water bottle with a few small stones in it. As soon as she looks at a car in the 'wrong' way shake the bottle and get her attention that way.

Takes a little effort but we've had good success using the technique with a number of diiferent dog breeds...

Thanks for your replys ive tried them all that's why Im looking for something outside the box so to speak I am a dog trainer have been for 40 years lol but this one is proving to be a challenge he also has HD both hips so needs extra mental challenge but again thank you x
I wish you luck - I had a dog who chased mopeds. We never quite cured him of that.
