Local dentist with a fish tank? Have you really asked local schools etc?

No.. Not thought to ask local schools.
Good idea!

Thanks, Mamya :-)
I feel the same about the rabbits, they are nasty and vicious and one of them tries to mug me for food - one day it's going to attack me.

If they are ordinary fairground type goldfish they should be OK in a park pond. Can you wait until the forthcoming cold snap has passed though, it will be a shock to go from a home to a freezing pond. Otherwise give them to a local aquatics shop.
Sherradk suggested it on first page Baby.

Apologies, Sherr. x

Please don't put them down the loo, it's cruel. They will suffocate.

I'm not gonna flush them down the toilet, it was a last case scenario.
I shall ask the kids school if they want them. If not, I will put them in the park pond.
Thats ok Baby Sham, didn't feel overlooked (sob).

Chewn, if you are talking to me, I look after them, feed them, clean them and give them water but they turned vicious over the summer when I was otherwise occupied. I'm concerned that one of them will fall out of his hutch and break his neck. He actually tries to rip at the bag of food or if I put it in a dish to take out to them he tries to knock it out of my hand.
careful it doesn't grow up to be like this, sherrardk :)

What about a Nursery - the one at my work has
That's it, going to get myself some chain mail and a sword - that should protect me from the evil bunny.

Chewn - auto-correct nightmare on your hands there.
The cancer ward in our local hospital has a large fish tank. You should maybe ask at your hospital and hospices.
