Why Have My Dogs Have Suddenly Started To Poop Excessively
5 Answers
I have two retired greyhounds, both fit and well but they have BOTH suddenly started pooping to excess. They will do this sometimes 5 or 6 times a day everyday. They are passing what appears to be normal stools with no apparent abnormalities to them. They have been on the same food for years with no issues. If it was just one of them then I would think perhaps they would need to see the vet to rule out any illness but they are both doing it !!
I am loathe to change their diet as it took a fair while to find the right food for them to stop horrendous flatulence but obviously I may need to do so.
They are currently having Country Value maintenance dry food with a very small amount of tinned dog meat and gravy to soften and taste. These also are the same gravy and meat they have been having for years.
Any recommendations or ideas would be really great.
