Rat

Just saw one runnning through my back yard as I am leaving Mr Harv to Pet SSitter.

Met neighbour of the area and she told me we are arun with rats - OMG. They (ie different families) have the Council out.

Rats are beautiful, wonderful creatures. Along as they don't get near human food sources (or, for example, chew the insulation on power cables) they're completely harmless. It's their world as much as ours!!!

I buy food for wild rats and I love feeding them. I just can't understand why people love watching wildlife when David Attenborough is enthusing about it from thousands of miles away but can't learn to live with it on their doorsteps.

I'm surprised that you're surprised Conn. Can't imagin there's an urban area that doesn't have rats.

As long as they're out there and not in my house I'm cool with it, as should you be, as there's not a whole lot you can do about it.
