Gene Pool Needs Attention

earlier today i had to go to a place called pool. it's near redruth and as there was a scooter/motorbike coming at speed down the hill towards me i waited for it to pass. the rider who had L plates but no helmet suddenly decided to turn right, did not slow down but took a wide turn. he was towing a young teenager on a bike, no feet on pedals but with legs and feet stuck out sideways.

do you think they will live long enough to breed?

didn't you ever do anything stupid when you were young?

some friends had a go-kart chassis which we used to tow to a considerable speed using a motor bike - the rope would have two turns round the front of the frame and when the speed of the kart matched your bravery levels you let go of the rope, it slipped off the frame and you rolled.... until on one occasion the rope snagged and dragged the towing bike sideways into a wall. the rider was lucky to escape with bruises....

I have to admit when we see these shenannigans around here (and trust me you see a lot) the folks in these parts just nod sagely and mutter 'Organ Donors...'

did do some very silly things when i was younger but that was before most people were quite so aware of the problems of head injuries and before there was much motorised traffic. if they had both had helmets that would have been different. btw they turned right onto a main road.
