I saw that earlier and shared it on FaceBook. The woman looks to be in total shock and I think that the dog will prefer to take the stairs from now on.
Ken - the woman wasn't careless or neglectful - her actions were that of a normal person in that she had the dogs on leads and under control. She (and her dog) were just unlucky that the lead got caught.
Hmm this is the same lady who allowed the situation to develop in the first place ? I guess she is going to be more careful in the future, not letting leads just drag on the floor behind her dog. May seem hard done by to have hurt a wrist for now, but she'd have felt a lot worse had her pet been more seriously hurt.
