I always get my shopping delivered on a Sunday. Got the usual email today saying that my shopping would be here between 11 and 12 and duly got on with the stuff that needed doing. 1.20 and still no shopping, rang them, on hold for 20 bloody minutes, to be told that my order had been cancelled!! (Payment didn't go through for some reasons). What I'm really hacked off about is that they didn't contact me to tell me (plus the fact that I then had to go bloody shopping). Grrr!!!
I have the food shopping sorted, 15 minutes tops but today has really hacked me off. Couldn't even let the kids out on their bikes as I knew a van was due to arrive (we live in a cul de sac and there are only four houses past ours and they are aware that kids might be out playing). Really hacked me off.
I told them on the phone I was considering changing shop (and in the stroppy email) but I am use to the website and products so it would could be hassle to change (I use Asda and they are the cheapest around here for groceries).
It's not laziness it's common sense. £15 for three months deliveries (cost me more than that in diesel), don't have to take the kids and bore them rigid and I can see how much I am spending and change my order if it goes over my self-imposed budget. Also, I don't have to interact with anyone else which suits me just fine.
No, it would have been easier for the shopping to have been delivered as it was supposed to be. I didn't plan on going shopping at all, that's the whole point of getting your shopping delivered.
It certainly isn't laziness... I don't drive, my hubby would have to take me and the kids shopping every week, kids would moan, hubby would moan!
It's not lazy to choose to do online shopping and have it delivered.. It's common sense! Lol
Scrivens - why is it laziness? I choose not to go shopping using a more convenient, time efficient method instead plus I don't have to drive my diesel guzzling car to the shop. My method (when it works) is cheaper, time saving and just more efficient.
