Depends on the species but I definitely know this one.

Cabbage White Butterfly Catterpillas hatch out of eggs laid on the underside of nettles (this protects them as well as gives them food). They sometimes get it wrong and put them on the non-sting variety. Look on the underside of nettle leaves for small green catterpillas, they are the ones I know.
