Beer And Aggression
Can anyone explain please why the "speciality beers in a bottle" would make a person more aggressive than if they drink spirits or wine? Could it be the malt in the beer or some other ingredient? The beer could be 5.1% alcohol, the wine 12% and the spirit 40% but the beer makes someone more aggressive, does anyone know why it should be? As a rule and not mixed, 3 beers consumed or wine could be half a bottle, same as spirit yet beer brings out the aggression full on, a puzzle to me.

Wondering if as woofgang mentioned, that it could be because the beer is carbonated. However it is for real that type of beer works differently on me than any other alcoholic drink as noted by myself and family members. I am not drinking it anymore but wondered why it has that effect on me.
eg, ummmm liked vodka so much she guzzled bucket-loads ergo pissed up and aggressive.
zacs pretending to be suave and sophisticated, no doubt to impress some bird, sips his wine, ergo feels bored and mellow. let off the leash with the lads, swigging beer, surprise, surprise, feels happy and lively.
they are scientific facts, they are.

Alcohol may affect judgement and thus allow one to ignore common sense feelings of staying calm but ultimately a change of personality isn't the alcohol so much as the expectation of what it will do. If some folk become more aggressive when drinking a particular beer it will be because they expect to and so make less effort to control themselves since they already think they can be expected to act that way.
