Its all very well saying its not the owners responsibility and that you cannot stop them but just put yourself in my position. The cat that breaks in through my magnetic cat flap not only eats my own cats food but it sprays everywhere, the sofa, window sills, waste bin, work surfaces, kitchen cupboards and on one occasion the kettle. I have tried everything from scaring it off, its too quick to squirt with anything, i have even tried 'Feliway' but thats rubbish too. I have just submitted an insurace claim for the damage and not including the 300 excess as its deemed numerous occasions the total is 2200. I cannot replace the damaged items yet as the cat still sprays daily. Any ideas?
