Sparrowhawk

Sitting at my PC, watching a Sparrowhawk working the field opposite my house.

It was doing quite well (a couple of hits), until it was mobbed by about 20 House Martins - they have driven it to ground & every time it comes up they are on the case again - fascinating.

Dave...you'll get as much done today as I will with all this bird watching.
The starlings and blue tits are keeping me amused...and now it will be a full time watch in case my sparrowhawk appears.

The behaviour of birds is, as you say.....fascinating! x

Waiting for the buzzards to appear....its warm enough mostly geese and gulls just lately with loads of swallows and martins.
