My dad told me and i have just read a very very shor artichle in an italian magazine but find nothing on the web: A man named Jack Tanner has found an animal that is thought to perhaps be able to spit fire and therefore we can call it a dragon. also a tiranosaurus rex has been found with burns suggesting that he/she fought with such an animal - and lost. is there any more info on this around ?

I'm terribly sorry, Thunderchild. I hate to pour cold water on your fantasies, but I'm afraid that no animal can make flames come out of its mouth. Well, only in legend or fiction. Jack Tanner sounds like the apocryphal Bloke In The Pub (and about as reliable for information), and Tyrannosaurus never encountered any human beings as they evolved 100 million tears later. I'm sorry :-(

thanks but i was suspecting a hoax but cmon has this never been refered to on the web dad said he saw it on tv in england now i find it in a sience magazine of about the time he told me last year so what did actually happen. btw i bet u would deny the existance of ETs cause a man never stood up in court and said i saw one and spoke to one

I remember a magazine called OMNI doing a feature (about 20-25 years ago) on a similar theme - It gave sientific proof that dragons could exist - how they flew - and why they had to breathe fire. I have no more details but it must have made an impression on me at the time

I saw a prog on the beeb a few months ago about the possibility of extinct dragons, it was only hypothosis and I managed to watch it for 10 mins before deciding that it was junk.

If you would care to ignite your own methane you will probably get away with a warm bum but for flames to exit an orifice is just asking for trouble!
