Have you met anybody who has turned famous.

I met Katie Melua when she was 10 and starred in a school play with my niece. She was tiny but oh so full of personality and brimming with enthusiasm. We all knew she would go a long way. Lovely wee girl.

When I was very young my parents bought a house from a man called Donald Nappy. He later became famous as The Black Panther. (Or should that be infamous?)

Well that's a bit of a relief.

Near a pub called The Farmers (I think?). No it wasn't THAT house....it was nearer the Pudsey/Stanningley end
I used to go to school with a girl who later became the MP Liz Lynn.

Met a man in a Sussex pub and bought him a pint, who was fairly well known but in a few months time he was to become really famous. He was William Hartnell, the first Dr Who.
Sqad, are you the medico who was the basis for one of the characters in the film, 'The last king of Scotland'?
ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!

Ii have just been on the phone to an older sister to ask her a few details about the house and The Black Panther.
It turns out he wanted to buy our house but pulled out at the last minute.
And to think I have been dining out on that story for years when it wasn't true.

(For the info of Zacs, our house at that time was off Richardshaw Lane if you know it)
