Half Dog In Hoover Bag

I have just hoovered,
I hoover every other day, there is only myself and Mr S, a dog and a pup,
yet every time i hoover there is at least half a dog in the dust cannister,
Where on earth does it all come from?
and why have I not got two bald dogs?
Its a mystery to me. X

It's the same with the cats, sparkles - OH groomed one of ours the other day, and we got half a cat in underfur :-)

We used to hoover our dog - he loved it.

My current avatar (princess Stupid or Princess Merlin) has long hair. There was a chunk of hair at the base of tail and I tugged it and it fell out - there was enough hair to knit a jumper for a small child in that one handful.

Her coat looks and feels great just now - so soft and shiny. She hates being groomed.

I have the same problem, Hoover cylinder always full of dog and cat hair everytime I use it (ie daily) How do you dispose of this grot? I sling it out into the field and let the wind shift it for me.

Merlin (being thick) tends to lick one area over and over again and this results is clumps. During the winter she usually has dreadlocks on her chest. When she demands to get up on the desk to 'help' me I have to tease all the clumps apart. You have to be careful as when she gets fed up she just tries to take a chunk out of my arm or hand.

I have the same problem, we have five cats and their fur ends up in rooms they aren't allowed in! I like the idea of hoovering them but as they're all frightened of the vacuum cleaner I can't see that working.

Tatty must be nicer than Merlin - the thought of using scissors whilst trying to avoid the lunging teeth is terrifying. A last resort. Maybe I could drug her.

DTC - ugleeeee kitties. You need to put clothes on them in cold weather. No - they look like aliens.

Tatty must be related to Merlin. She is a stroppy little 'lady dog' sometimes - most-times actually.

My cat fluff goes in the rubbish bin - you're not supposed to put protein in the compost bin :-(
