Question Author
Yes their names (subject to KC approval) will be Lankeela Matt Finnish and Lankeela Moomintroll. They are Lancashire Heelers and their mum was bred in Finland and came over to me because I bred her grandfather and he went out to Finland, where he has been very successful in the show ring and with his offspring. They are a vulnerable native breed, with only around 100 being registered per year, and two is just below average size with litters ranging from one to four, with the very occasional litter of five or six. I will be keeping one of the boys and the other has about six people fighting over him!
Aaaw! Sweet!
Are they related to Corgis and, maybe, a small terrier?

They look like cute babies - I hope that they both have long and happy time on this planet.
Absolutely gorgeous. xx
Question Author
They are cattle dogs originally but developed into a general purpose farm dog, ratting and rabbiting as well as moving livestock. One possible theory about their ancestry is that a type of welsh herding dog (early corgi types) drove cattle that came over from Ireland up to the northwest and along the way they met up with the northern black and tan terrier types, but they have been purebred for around two hundred years that we know of. They are very long lived - grandmother to this *** was almost eighteen when I lost her.
Question Author
So now they censor female dogs???
Long and happy life wishes to both of them, Lankeela.
