Went to Walcott today for our once a month Fish & Chips (Kingfisher chippie the best ever). And while sat on the seafront we were amazed to see what we believe were 2 Porpoise swimming by, we have seen seals before but never porpoise, they were swimming not far off shore and the fins on there backs were clearly visible, are these creatures often seen on the Norfolk coast?

How wonderful to see them (and to be the kingfisher!) I have heard of sightings but mot seen them myself. More have been recorded in recent years. It indicates good clean sea water and ample food sources for the porpoises.

This is from last year.
