Weeing Loads! Worried About Diabetes!

Need some help!
I've just been to asda for a diabetic check as I have done symptoms.
I've been weeing liked crazy over the last three days! I thought it was cus ive drank a couple of hot water with lemon drinks which I know can act as a diuretic (sp?)
I have lost a lot of weight and am a till listing and I seem to pee my fat away didn't really think anything of it till my colleagues pointed out I was going even now than usual
Although I've lost weight in still obese and my mum had diabetes as has my dad.
So basically I'm high risk so am very worried but can't get in to dr till next week.
The pharmacist said my number was slighly elevated (6) and it might be a urine infection.
I've had cystitis lots times but there's no pain with this.
I'm away with kids this weekend and don't want to spends it worrying!
I know im still very overweight
but I can't eat any healthier than I do!
Unfortunately I've had to a stop my walking/exercise bike as I am suffering bone pain at the mo and waiting for osteoarthritis tests :(
