My poor boy was attacked on Monday by another dog and has had about a quarter of his ear bitten off he has dressing on it which is changed every 2 days and has to wear a plastic cone on him which we both find distressing.I have been looking for alternative and wondered if any one has a inflatable one if so any good? And would it stop him from scratching at his ears?. Thanks in advance for answers

No personal experience but I know loads of people who have. The inflatable or padded collars do seem to be better tolerated but if your dog is big or has long legs, they may still be able to get to the wound.

He is a Spanish Water Dog so medium size.
hmmm, quite long legged. Its possible that the padded/inflatable type collar wouldn't work then.
