They promised anything to anyone, knowing they would never have to keep their promises - until Clegg's tuition fee promise blew up in his face.
UKIP has taken their niche - no real policies, no experience of government, making promises on the hoof. Heaven help us if Farrago gets any real power..
As for Millipede the trade union puppet, he's even more comical.
The Tories are probably the least worst option.

They may well understand it, at least to some extent, but defeatism won't work either. For the next few months they have little choice but to act as if they might still have something useful to offer the country. I use "still" in the broadest possible sense, of course...
