Anyone here ever ridden a cow?
When i was young(er) and more foolish, my brother convinced me it would be a good idea to mount (ahem) his prize Jersey show cow (Flamingo of the Moss was her full title) who promptly scarpered down the field at hitherto unheard-of speeds, narrowly missing caving my stupid head in with her none-to-delicate hooves.
Anyone had a similar experience?

My dad used to have his business on a farm and if we visited we would venture out to the fields. One day my sister and I decided to mount one of the horses in the nearby field. We kept calling the horses over and I was trying to scale one of them, but they started getting a little playful. Next think we knew they were galloping around us so I legged it for the fence. My sister, the wally, froze in her tracks and the next thing I saw were two horses heading straight for her from opposite directions. They ran right up to her and passed by her really closely at the exact same time, with her standing screaming in the middle.
Needless to say we never tried that again.
