This shows the incredible resilience of the congregation. Just days after 9 of them were murdered in a racist attack, they are assembling for worship.

I really admire their stance in the face of adversity.

I'm really not sure what you think the point is. As far as I see it, I disagree wholeheartedly with these people's beliefs, but to cope with such a horrific crime committed in their building must be far from easy. That they have returned to the scene so quickly demonstrates a strong sense of community and is as fine a reaction as you could hope for. Opinions on...

I wonder why you are not criticising them for their belief in a fairy tale, as you usually do?
Never let it be said that AOG will overlook an opportunity to miss the point entirely.
Church is much more than a place of worship, it provides community and support which I feel is sadly lacking in a lot of peoples lives these days.

On the contrary I think I have hit the point smack in the centre of the target, judging by your reaction.
And never let it be said that mikey will overlook an opportunity to play the race-hate card.

Well deserved Best Answer Jim....what a pity that others can't see the simple point that I am making. A few days after a horrible racist attack, and the community is bouncing back. A lesson for us here.
Their resilience is perfectly credible. It's what they do, what they believe in and who they are.
What would be incredible would be the building being abandoned by the flock because a lunatic attacked people inside it.
I see their god didnt lift a hand to stop it happening though...strange that...still if thats what god wants then obviously its all fine and dandy !

Obviously it goes without saying, a much more admired way of approaching such things, after such a horrific hate crime.

Much better than taking to the streets rioting, looting and pillaging.
Christianity 1 Hate 0.
What I find hard to understand if that the day after their friends/family there were murdered, the relatives were forgiving the murderer. I couldn't.
^ sorry, that was me, not nibble.
