I am a bit of a hard hearted 'lady dog' and very cynical when I see videos like this. I know that they are filmed for maximum impact.

I normally don't react to the clip in an emotional way (not to say that I am not upset) but this had me very nearly crying.

But in most cases videos like this are preaching to the converted, the callous members of our species who dump their pets don't care. How can anybody through a kitten or puppy out of a moving car?

I'm off to throw a nasty, evil Tom cat off my bed. He will growl menacingly but be back for a cuddle within minutes. His sister is currently sitting in the water fountain - she is so thick!

You must be a very emotional person wolf; it's a cartoon.

As you say it's preaching to the converted anyway. Either one knows right from wrong, or it's too late to teach by the time one can find videos on the Net.

OG - I am not very emotional but perhaps it is the cat slave in me that is reacting. Humans can be quite inhumane.
