Hedgehogs

We feed a local hedgehog with Spikey food, how can I stop him using my patio to toilet, we've plenty of garden for him to choose his spot, but why my patio. Grateful for any advise.

think your self lucky he chose you to visit,maybe if you put the food out at the bottom of the garden he would come to your patio

His food is put away down the garden, I've tried spraying the ground with disinfectant but he is a determined little chap, having to scrub the patio every morning is a pain.

cute little animals we use to pick one in our garden and it din't curl up very soft underneath

Are they frightened of cats ? How about one of those fake cats with eyes that glow (used to chase away cats I think). Probably get them from a garden centre, you could try placing one of those on your patio.

They don't do that much poo! They're tiny things.

Tilly2...exactly my thoughts too. Perhaps the OP has a visiting horse as well?
