Bees In A Nest Box

I've noticed a large number of honey bees hovering around and going in a nest box last couple of weeks. It's on a wall at the back of the garden. I'm not scared of bees but should I worry about it? Any real chance they'll swarm out at me one day if they've made it their summer home?

If you are really worried contact a local bee keeper, the local library told me who to call, and if they are honey bees they are usually glad to take them away for you, free of charge.
No expert but I can't see them wanting to attack you if you aren't threatening their home. But I'd prefer not to have them in my back garden, to be honest.
local council will take nests away..but there is a charge here !
Honey bees would probably find a nest box too small, they are probably just investigating it and will most likely reject it. There may well be a swarm looking for a new nest site and the bees you can see are just scouts.
When bees swarm they are going to form a new colony and are not interested in anything else The air may be full of bees but they won't sting you because their stomachs are so full of honey that they can't bend their abdomens enough to sting anything.
They won't bother you Prudie and they won't stay long and they also won't be back next year. I know because this happened to me once and I got in touch online with some bee group (can't remember who they were now) and they were totally right. They said I was lucky to have them as bees are now becoming endangered.

Thanks for answers, they are still there and going in and out of the hole. It's only a tit-box so not big enough for a real colony. I won't ask anyone to take them away. Now if it were wasps that would be different.
