Many many things upset me but this is truly awful - I don't usually post news but sadness of this unbelievable.

Two lads 15 and 17 on scrambler bikes - girl just out walking her wee dog. This park is about 4 miles from me.

It was an accident, the 17 year old's life is now ruined too.

Islay - scrambler bikes are not allowed on that lane.

The police should confiscate any scramblers or quad bikes that aren't fully insured and documented found on public roads or land.
This is a dreadful accident that was 'waiting to happen '.

It was still an accident - the 17 year old didn't get up that day and say I know lets go and mow someone down and kill them.

They got up that day and said lets have fun!

Like all kids they have done something that there were no supposed too, unfortunately in this case the result will change their lives for ever.

And the dead girl's family - 3 children and a husband.

yes. he'll get a few hours community service, and a licence he hasn't got will be taken away.

Islay, I doubt if the 17 year olds life will be as ruined as much as the lives of his victims husband and children will be.

Don't know Mushroom - a lad I know killed unintentionally - mother and son - he done 4 years in jail.

I don't think for one second the 17 year olds life is ruined. He's young with a life ahead of him

Also Islay - the lad still has his "life" and whatever he gets - he will get out to live it. Don't forget there were 2 lads - the 15 year old hasn't been mentioned in the above article but he too was partly responsible.

Don't know Mushroom - a lad I know killed unintentionally - mother and son - he done 4 years in jail.

And from he got out has been dogged with mental problems. Some time ago he took a stroke and whilst he can walk he can't talk.

Not to be picky but the woman was not killed on the lane but in the park near the lake!

This lovely lady has even helped others after her death, my heart goes out to all those involved.
