Not an expert, but I would suggest that her faeces may contain scents that will advise males that she is coming into season, so she is 'advertising' in advance. Because she will want to mate somewhere where she knows she is safe - again survival instinct - she will advertise on her home territory, so the males come to her there.

Unfortunately, her 'home territory' doubles as your house!

It's doubtful you can train her out of this - it's primeval procreation instincts at work - but if she is prone to use the same spot or area, cover it with newspaper.

Have you considered having her neutered? Not just for this problem but to prevent health problems with an un-neutered lady dog.
She is obviously saving her defecation for a specific location - which does add weight to my explanation.

I didnt want to put her thro the neutering process (She's my baby) but yeah been thinking about it the past few days, that might do the trick, thanx for your help Andy :)

Thanx Wolf 63 also :)
You are lost welcome.

As far as her being your 'baby' - you need to look at neutering from your dog's perspective - she will quickly get over and forget the surgery, and long term, it will be for her benefit if you are not planning to breed with her.
Most welcome even!
sounds like a hormonal problem. Neutering should do the trick. Its unusual not to neuter if not need for breeding. Dont worry about it. The dog will be none the wiser. Talk to your vet first as its important to do it exactly at the right time otherwise she will continue to be 'hormonal'. Vet may say she could be too old to learn new behaviour. Do it anyway - shes a dog!
If you love her you will spay her to save her the increased risk of womb cancers and breast cancers that having season after season brings!
Do think about spaying her. Not doing so puts her at greater risk of mammary tumours.
