A Funny Thing Happened In The Middle Of The Night

I was woken up by a low humming sound. Got up to investigate and saw a glimmer of light from the shower room and found the the Karcher window vac had switched itself on! I tried to turn it off but couldn't . OH woke up and tried to switch it off but also failed. In the end he gave up and 'escorted' it out to the garage and checked after about an hour and it had finally run out of power. Rang Karcher this morning to find that, although rare, this had happened to a few other people. I thought April fools day had arrived early. Has this happened to anybody else?

Not that. But my last cat managed to switch the vacuum cleaner on in the middle of the night once. I crept down the stairs thinking it was a burglar (!!) and there is George jumping up and down on the machine.

How good ae those machines ? At present I use a squeegee.

I think they're good. We live a a very hard water area and the door and tiles soon get covered in scale if we don't dry them. Good for cleaning windows too obviously especially big ones like patio doors

Ours is the basic model £30 from Tesco.

A bit late to the thread I know lol, but just wanted to add my little two penneth if I may ..
We got woken up early hours of the morning a few years ago, to the sound of our electric organ downstairs randomly playing!
Frit the life out of us! Still don't know to this day how & why, lol. The power button had been switched on even though the pull down canopy lid was closed and the volume was up loud.. lol ..
