If you only use it for black coffee I do t see a problem.

If you want to use it for a myriad of purposes then soaking with soap salts will help.

You could try baby bottle steriliser (Milton) in it.

I used a badly stained mug to mix up some Lemsip for a cold. I felt better and the mug came up like new!

Stainless steel won't harbour odours.

There are cheaper alternative brands but do check that both the interior and exterior are made of stainless steel. (Some might have a stainless steel exterior but a plastic interior, which would leave you with the same problem of clinging odours).

Two Denture Tabs in stained mug with boiling water stand overnight. Problem solved.

OG you are a very naughty boy. It is stainless steel but the rim where the top screws on is plastic. I will buy Sterident and try that x
