Cat Seems To Have Adopted Us.
37 Answers
A ginger and white young Cat has been making an appearance at our back gate for about a month or so now. My son started leaving dried food by the gate as he looked a bit dishevelled and nervous. Eventually, he gained confidence and started venturing down the path, so we left wet food out for him. He was quite skinny and his tail matted with tar or oil. Anyway he and my other cat seem to like each other and eat together in my conservatory. We got a local RSPCA person out two days ago. He said he seemed ok but not chipped. I thought it was a female, which I've been calling Daisy. Well was told Daisy is Tom! Any male names welcome..

I've asked around the neighbours and put a message under his collar, ( that we put on) When he came around the next day it was gone. I must admit it wasn't very secure, so I will do it again tomorrow making sure it stays put. I've got a feeling someone has up and left the village and left him behind. Although still quite nervous, he's sweet cat.
My boy (my avatar) is a total wuss and mummy's boy. His sister could be mistaken for a big boy cat - long haired and short tempered. She actually looks like a small highland cow.
It's good that your current cat hasn't decided that the new boy is just not getting to move in. They are unpredictable in such matters.
Enjoy your new boy - Boris? Bruno? or something to go with your other cat
