I have been using frontline on our kitten (coming up to six months old) but it's not exactly effective. Can anyone recommend a good one I can buy online?

Go to your vet, or go online. I use Advantage....used to be prescription only but is available online. Try Amazon.
Frontline us no longer effective.
Well the best ones by miles are those you get on prescription. I find Advocate excellent but have to get it from the vets. A lot of the non-prescription treatments - such as Frontline - are wasting your money.
and treat the house as well as the kitten if kitty actually does have fleas...even the places kitty doesn't go and maybe your car too if the humans are getting bitten.
I second Prudie's suggestion for Advocate. Worth every penny. I wish people would google FL before they buy it. Not having a go at you sher but it makes me so cross they are still selling it.

Thanks all - I'll try the Advantage first as I'm currently car-less and live in the sticks.
