What Breed Is My Cat?

She’s not a pure breed, she’s a rescue. But I’m pretty sure she’s mostly either a Mainecoon or Norwegian forest cat. She’s about 15 pounds, and has a very fluffy bib, but not a fluffy tail. I tried to get a picture of the side of her face for you. Here are some pics

My girl cat looks like your cat and she was born feral and is a moggy.

Princess Merlin has a white undercarriage - your cat looks almost all black.

I've got a big deaf white cat...bushy tail, semi long haired, ruff around his head. Also weighs about a stone. Not big enough to have Maine or Norwegian in him, though he has the "look". They weigh in the 25lb range. I believe B00, another ABer, has a Maine Soon.

Does your cat have blue eyes, pasta? I've heard nearly all white cats with blue eyes are deaf.

Thanks guys! Yes, she is all black, but in the sunlight it looks like a rusty brown. She’s pretty, but she’s a jerk xD.

we had a pure white one, blue eyes and was only deaf when he wanted to be.

Has any vet identified her breed?
if not, enjoy the call of the wild when she wants fed at 4 am :-)

She's definitely not a Norwegian Forest cat. My Grandson has a ginger one and his neck resembled a lion. Beautiful cat.
