Confessions ...

I did once share a Bonio when out walking in the wilds of Dartmoor with my first dog - to be fair she had just snaffled my last sarnie when I wasn't looking. As virtually inedible biscuits go, it wasn't bad.

I have risked a tiny morsel from a pouch of Tuna for Kitties (can't remember the brand) - it did smell and look very good - it tasted vile beyond belief.

Anyone else?

well, i've tried dog biscuits - meh
cat food is really horrible though, not surprised she turns her nose up at it, although the sheba tins of tuna and chicken look and smell like the real thing. Not been tempted to make a sarnie out of them (yet)
I've tried fish food as well and rabbit food, don't think there is anything else, possibly pony nuggets, i can't remember but i wouldn't surprise me.

what can i say, its food, as long as it doesn't wobble i'll give it a go...

If it was quiet in the house my Mother knew where to find me, scoffing out the dog bowl.

It was standard practice for my mum to give me a biscuit and one for the dog, I would open his mouth to remove his biscuit as it was more appetising than mine.

I tried a Kitekat sarnie with a school friend once - truly, utterly revolting.

Back in schooldays my friend was very partial to dog biscuits.
My wife worked in a small grocer's shop after leaving school (it could have been Arkwright's, the owner was so mean); customers of a certain nationality used to buy tins of Kit-e-Kat for their sandwiches.

As a kid, shared a few mealworms with my pet my Terrapin. Tasted like peanuts.

Also Fish food flakes.

This reminds me of a fav malay dish. Boiled rice with ginger, cooled & served with dried salty minnow fish & pinch of chilly pickle. The fish is sold as cat food in pet shops.

I once put a bowl of Katkins dry cat food out with other 'nibbles' at a party as a joke. It all got eaten and I was asked what they were,I didn't tell anyone that they had eaten cat food.

I've tried a nibble of a gravy bone before as my dog literally goes nuts for them! As it turns out, not too bad. Would have been much better dipped in sugary tea to give it some flavour! hehe

I've also munched on a few Winalot in the past, they were quite nice. Cat food is a step too far.
