Watching the Olympics ice dancing. Some excellent displays by very talented lads and lasses.

Friends here for dinner this evening, including the wee white tornado! I'm looking forward to that. Always a pleasent evening. A wee bit of shoplifting to do this morning, see my two favourite checkout girls. We always have fun.

Washings finished, so I'll go and sort that out and get the kettle going.

Youngsters burnt table arrived home today.

Not as badly damaged as I was imagining, but worse than I hoped.

Gives me something to do and the glazier has agreed to supply the glass for free. Could have been worse.

So what's on the menu tonight Boaty, left over roast lamb turned into a shepherds pie here.

Starter. giant mushroom with Stilton and ham,
Main Pork steak cooked in cider with jacket potato with cheese and creamed mushrooms, pud. coconut panna cotta Kitchen floor will be kept clean by the wee white tornado, that's if anything reaches the floor!

I reckon scraps will reach the floor, possibly not by accident ;-/

Morning peeps. Just done the first feed of the day. Jnr has to go to hospital this morning for his compulsory day-5 weigh-in and heel-prick test.

Then we're having a family dinner consisting of leg of lamb with all the accompaniments and carrot, parsnip and crystallised ginger cake I made yesterday as afters.

Morning all....haven't been out yet, phone down with the wind that has been blowing - was down yesterday, fixed and then very static-y and crackly yesterday evening, the internet speed also dire. Possibly the hossy this morning with the daughter but things have been quiet from both the two '80' year olds overnight.
