Yes I agree with the above (only religious articles are illegal, e.g Buddha images etc. Don't forget to get you VAT forms signed when you buy stuff so you can get some money back from your buys. You'll need to get these stamped before you go through to departure lounge so you can collect the money on the other side of the counter!! They didn't even check the stuff!! We went to Phuket by the way.
