Ah perfect!!
What does your dad feed them!? He still only eats seeds- Ive tried a few things but keen to get in some variety!?
Secondly Im thinking about introducing a wee friend - hes really sociable but I think he might like a pal?
Lastly!! He can fly but he cant land!!! This has stopped us letting him out as much as we would like- terrified he will break his neck as he just takes off and slams into walls etc? I always draw the curtains so he dosent hit windows-
Not sure about wing clipping!? I think i would feel sad doing that as birds are meant to fly!!!! He really is going to injure himself at least! X

My daft cockatiel used to love nibbling on my chocolate, ice cream, butter, fruit, biscuits. I had to peel the sunflower seeds for him.
Proper cockatiel food he loved includes those honey sticks you can buy, millet sprigs, pellets, little bits of chopped fruit including sultanas, little bits of lettuce and cabbage. Also cucumber.
No idea why he can't land.

All the normal food such a mixed seeds millet and honey sticks plus fresh fruit and veg just a little at a time otherwise it tends to go off.
If you get him a friend you may find that he no longer talks and sings to you.
Try putting perches around the room with little treats on to encourage him to land on.

Have a 25 year old cockatiel called spike. Yours needs perches to land on. Can you carry him from cage to perch. Open door top will do, but mind his feet. Pea’s are likes so is cooked rice. Don’t give lettuce as pesticides may be on it. He should be able to fly back into or on his cage. Is the door big enough.
