For the same reason that there isn't ahorse pooh or rabbit pooh flavoured dog food! because cats don't buy their own food, people do, therefore the food names/ descriptions need to be appetising to people
And the smell of it also wouldn't you think woofgang?.... LOL
This question and woofgang's answer have given my daughters (Aged 6 and 9) the giggles.
well that's nice!!
i haven't got a clue but its a damn fine question!
email whiskas and ask them, would be interested to hear there reply
well we don't know what they taste like so we can't make a food tht tastes like them. but the problem of to many mice would get out of controle!!!
I've also always wondered why you never really see fish flavoured dog food. You could argue that its not part of a dogs natural diet or that it doesn't have the right nutrients, but my dog goes crazy for fish. I've yet to meet a dog who doesn't!!

PMSL, Aw go on Chilly, do what gucciman said! E-Mail Whiskas and ask them, please, that would be sooo funny!

Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance dog food they have a fish and potato formula. There is a veggan formula for dog's also from Nature's Recipe dog food company.

Just an FYI...

Hello

Thank you for your recent email suggestion a variety of Mouse flavour catfood.

As a member company of the Pet Foods Manufacturers' Association, we only use raw materials from animals which have been inspected and passed as fit for human consumption.

In addition, member companies only use raw materials from animal species which are generally recognised as accepted in the human food chain. This rules out the use of any materials from horses, ponies, whales, other sea mammals or other species. It means that the industry only uses materials of beef, lamb, poultry and pork origin, fish, shellfish, rabbit and game. In view of this, it would not be feasible to produce a catfood using mice.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
