I agree Canary!...
Thanks :-)
Flippin' 'eck Patsy, I've got to take my dog out now and I can't see for tears! That was truly beautiful, beautiful animal and beautiful faces on the sick and the elderly. Thanks for posting x
Lovely...very touching.
Though I can't imagine a horse being allowed in a nursing home or hospital here.

I know hereiam! It takes a lot to make me cry...but after seeing that, especially the dying man. What a wonderful, special horse!
Awww... how lovely
It was sweet, but I have wonder what folk think when they wake up from a nap to find a horse in the room.

.... meanwhile in the US a nursing home cat takes up residence in the room of those who are going to die soon.

Animals are amazing and many have senses that we dont don't. In many ways we are inferior.

Very true wolf...
There's a lot we don't know about all these wonderful animals.
Pasta, you are correct there is both an excess of rs-covering regulation and an acute lack of imagination in the UK that prevents anything remotely similar being tried.
Wow! That is so touching. Thanks for posting, Patsy.
Beautiful and powerful x
Wonderful.
This is also wonderful. Watch the patience of the horse. He senses everything about the little boy.

Goodness, I've gone now, lovely.

When I was in a major London Hospital for 8 weeks about 9 years ago, they had a room where patients could be reunited with their dogs, we had a huge Dobie at the time, Mrs B brought him down twice to see me during that time, it was good, and she said she wasn't hassled for a seat on the train at all, funny that ;o)
Two fantastic horses, thanks for posting.
I've just watched the second clip - the horse was so calm with the little boy.

I know that there are Therapy Animals but they seem to be mainly dogs and some pet-type animals. But these two horses seem ideal too. (But I can't see Mrs B getting a horse in a train). :-)

I help with the riding for the disabled sessions. To see the horses that were careering around the paddock earlier like idiots with us trying to catch them, change into gentle, caring animals when they meet the children never ceases to amaze me. Been a few times when I've had a little tear over something. A lot of the youngsters can't walk and the look on their face when they're suddenly mobile on those gorgeous creatures is wonderful.
