We Currently have two Irish Wolfhounds Hounds

Both bitches
Fia is 21 months Her Kennel club name is "Eileanirgh Lady of the fire" So we named her "Fia" being the latin name for flame.

Luna is 9 months Her Kennel Club name is "Braewisan Lady of the Moon" again Latin for moon.

Merlin (RIP) in my avatar was my most magical boy and my very first Irish Wolfhound and he lead me into a world of wolfhounds he was the very typical Wolfhound large, shaggy and so gentle and full of character. Being so magical, I hade to name him Merlin, we lost him a few weeks ago at 11 years of age.

Thanks Woof, He was fit and healthy up until the last hours. He was out in the garden playing with Luna and Fia just a few hours before. We knew he wasn't having a good night as he was very unsettled, we found him passed away in the morning. He had been to the vet the day before and got a clean bill of health all bar a bit of age related stiffness in his rear end. That was his third ever trip to the vets. That's the way to go! Run Free Merlin my boy!
